ABOUT CHRIS HEBRON
Chris Hebron, MS, LMFT, SUDP, CSAT, CMAT, EMDR Certified
As a licensed therapist specializing in addiction, sex/porn addiction and betrayal trauma, as well as couples counseling, anxiety and depression, I am dedicated to help the clients I work with create lives and relationships that they are proud of.
Over the years, I have worked with so many individuals and couples who struggle with the shame of addiction, or have been traumatized by a person they loved or trusted.
Someone once said, “When you’re going through hell keep going.” Personally, I’ve been there and I kept going. Professionally, as a therapist, my ability to reach someone suffering and help that hurting person heal is why I do this work.
At Creative Therapy Counseling it’s not just about talking about problems, rather we use a variety of focused tools to help break the logjam of addiction and trauma, such as art therapy, trauma processing exercises, role-play, EMDR, or just plain time tested person centered therapy. We meet each individual and couple where they are and create a specific therapy plan to to help you heal the hurt and move forward in your life and relationships.
There is no need to suffer alone, reach out. I am here to help.

Are you ready to take the first step?
My Values
From my background as therapist, along with my experience in peer based recovery, volunteering and professional background, I’m able to come from a place of knowing what it’s like to have really hard times with no hope. My own journey brings in a level of focus, compassion and client centered support for every person I work with. I want the clients I am honored to support to leave our work having grown, healing, and inspired to live their very best lives.
Creativity
Using art therapy as a young kid helped me express what I didn't have words for. Since then, I've helped others through writing, drawing, collage, music and movement coupled with therapy to help the most stuck people start moving again.
Compassion
Starting with self-compassion, maybe the hardest forms of compassion to develop, it's possible to grow and change as well as be inspired to develop goals to lead the life waiting after the fog clears.
Acceptance
After acceptance of the problem comes responsibility for figuring out ways to heal and grow. Working with an experienced and dedicated therapist is helpful, especially when the therapist is someone who has been there and is able to help guide you through your healing journey.
